That is why I decided to make a list of my favorite soft shell roof top tents. As I touch on each softshell RTT, I will go over their features, size, pricing, and much more.
Within my list of favorite soft tops, I gave a lot of consideration to include tents with a wide range of features and durability. This way, I can ensure that at least one of these tents will appeal to you! I have placed these tents in no particular order either.
The base of the tent is lined with a diamond plated base and the tent is wrapped in a 3/4″ heavy-duty internal frame. The fabric is made of 360g dual stitched fabric which is 40% heavier than Tepui’s standard models.
To ensure the tent is secure and can handle even the toughest off-roading experience, Tepui installed heavy-duty 3-bolt hinges and welded aluminum base construction throughout the tent.Even further, this tent has great anchor points and bedding straps so it will stay put while on a bumpy dirt road.
Last but certainly not least, this model in Tepui’s extensive lineup comes with an anti-condensation mat. They can cost you around a couple of hundred bucks and go a long way when camping in the snow or colder weather. I love this bonus feature in the Kukenam Ruggedized model.
If you’re considering a 4-season RTT, this is a fantastic option. Everything about this tent screams durability. This functional RTT can withstand the tough love some campers will give it.Not to mention, Arcadia is a highly regarded manufacturer in the industry as well.
